PUEBLO joins the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Californians United for a Responsible Budget, and many other community partners in mobilizing Oaklanders and other Alameda County residents to make their voices heard about how the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) should spend the Proposition 47 savings.
The BSCC is responsible for administering the grant programs for mental health and substance abuse treatment using a portion of the annual Prop. 47 state savings. We demand that the BSCC invest the savings in community-based programs and services.
Join us on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Oakland to make your voice heard!
