People's Tribunal

The People's Tribunal on the murder of Oscar Grant and the nationwide epidemic of police brutality occurred on Sunday, March 22nd at the Calvin Simmons Middle School in Oakland. At the People's Tribunal families who had lost loved ones to police involved shootings, including family members of Oscar Grant III, gave testimony about their experiences. Rashidah Grinage was one of those who spoke about her family's loss and what she learned as a result of this tragedy.
