Urban Youth Harvest
Whitney Walton, New Urban Youth Harvest DirectorPUEBLO has hired Whitney Walton to head up our fourth year of PUEBLO's Urban Youth Harvest Program. Whitney is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she majored in Ethnic Studies. After graduation she worked with the National Coalition for the Homeless doing fundraising and development. Whitney moved to the Bay Area to work with Good Cents for Oakland and now looks forward to working with PUEBLO as the Program Director of Urban Youth Harvest. Her experiences as an activist have encouraged her to learn about not only food justice but homelessness, social justice, youth empowerment, LGBTQIA rights, the prison industrial complex, immigration rights, and the cross sections of oppression that exist in every community.
