Justice for Oscar Grant

PUEBLO leaders insist that the tragic killing of 22 year-old Oscar Grant III on New Year’s Day and the ensuing protests must be understood as a wake up call to our political leaders about the consequences that result from a lack of effective and independent community oversight. The justified outrage must lead to systemic change if we are to prevent further senseless and needless deaths.
