Rashidah on Stanford Law Clinic PanelOn Dec. 12th at 6pm at Laney College, members of the research team of the Stanford Law Clinic, together with Tony and OneFam, pulled together a panel on the prospects for positive police reform in Oakland. The purpose was to host a robust, constructive and forward-looking conversation between panelists and eventually drawing in the audience about what it would take to reform the OPD. The panelists included civil rights attorneys Jim Chanin and Rachel Lederman (NLG), Citizens' Police Review Board Vice-President Sokhom Mao, activist Dereca Blackmon, OPD Sergeant Hookfin and PUEBLO's Director Rashidah Grinage.
