PUEBLO presents at OaklandWorks Town Hall

PUEBLO presents at OaklandWorks Town Hall on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011 at the West Oakland Senior Center, 1724 Adeline St. The presentations will begin at 5:30 PM and the meeting is expected to run to 7:30 PM.
OaklandWorks is an alliance of several community groups who have joined together to ensure that the jobs that result from the development of the Oakland Army Base will go to Oakland residents, as a priority.
In addition to presentations by a panel, there will be breakout sessions for a more informal, Q & A, opportunity.
Light refreshments will also be available. We hope as many folks will attend as possible so that we can build momentum around the importance of making sure that the jobs that arise from large developments provide opportunities for Oakland residents to find gainful, long term employment rather than folks who commute from other cities to work in Oakland.
