31 students completed PUEBLO's Urban Youth Harvest Program, in collaboration with Cycles of Change. This eight week program provided an opportunity for our students to learn a variety of skills and have tremendous fun at the same time! They learn to ride bikes in the streets of Oakland and to repair bikes. They learned to harvest the fruit growing in folks' back yards, and then delivered it to low income seniors who lack access to fresh produce. They also learned the fundamentals of how to start a business and what careers they might pursue in eco-friendly pursuits. Some of the photos show our students at their graduation picnic on August 22nd at Poplar Park in West Oakland.
